This is at once an homage to the Star Wars trilogies and a documentary of its sci-fi precursors, from silent film to Star Trek.

Since this collection of interviews isn't authorized by Lucasfilm, you won't find footage of the Star Wars movies here, although you will find terrific snippets from sci-fi milestones such as Fritz Lang's Metropolis. A youthful Carrie Fischer talk about the interplanetary appeal of the original Star Wars, while a 20-years-older Fischer talks about the films' fairytale-like grasp across generations. Young and older Harrison Fords and Mark Hamills give interesting perspectives as well; the video also sports one of the longer interviews recorded with the man inside C-3PO.

Besides the actual cast and crew of the Star Wars movies including The Phantom Menace, there are interviews here with stars as fans, famous people who love the movies as much as anyone: Sharon Stone, Gary Busey, Hugh Hefner, Magic Johnson, Christina Ricci, and William Shatner. This product was never received. The DVD's were to be a Christmas gift and a week before Christmas I had to go to the mall and pay a steep price in order to have the gift for the holiday. While the payment was refunded, the non-delivery was a big disappointment. However my son has enjoyed the videos and he now watches then with his own son.

This LOOKS FANTASTIC on my Sony Bravia 40" 1080p LCD HDTV. I use my PS3 to upconvert and I just couldn't be more pleased.

I know many people have commented about problems on this product. I had none of the issues many have described.



I use my MacBook Pro ALL day. I haven't seen any heat problems, not edge abrasiveness nor any issues putting it on.



It makes my Mac look pretty cool and its easily distinguished.



I was even able to wipe off all the finger prints on the casing with the palm of my hand. Pretty cool, I'd say.



Just a note, when you put the bottom on, I would recommend putting the rear part of the laptop in first and then the front. There are some hooks that go on easier that way.



Other than that, it's a great product and I'm glad I purchased it.

The Beatles' last days as a band were as productive as any major pop phenomenon that was about to split. After recording the ragged-but-right Let It Be, the group held on for this ambitious effort, an album that was to become their best-selling. Though all four contribute to the first side's writing, John Lennon's hard-rocking, "Come Together" and "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" make the strongest impression. A series of song fragments edited together in suite form dominates side two; its portentous, touching, official close ("Golden Slumbers"/"Carry That Weight"/"The End") is nicely undercut, in typical Beatles fashion, by Paul McCartney's cheeky "Her Majesty," which follows. --Rickey Wright

Customer Review: Amazing (as all of them were)

while not my favorite beatles album, it is still amazing. The first side has great song after great song and the second side fits so well together and the trio at the end is perfection. great album, awesome cover, awesome band, and just one of their best albums.

Customer Review: A magnificent Finale.

As the band was breaking up and each member was getting into his own music this final recording is a fine legacy and wonderfull gift to their fans.



Strong contributions from all, don't let anyone tell you Ringo was not a very good rock drummer. He adds significantly to the Beatles sound. George's "Here Comes the Sun" and "Something" saw him come of age as a song writer, Frank Sinatra called the later song the greatest Love song ever written, I wont argue with Frank.



This, their last recording was recorded after Let it Be but released before,all the Beatles went on to successful solo careers, however never individually captured the quality of Abbey Road. Truely earning the Classic label.
